New pc specs

Hi, i'm thinking about buying a custom pc and am confused as to what components to go for!

Intel C2D E4500 2.20GHz 2Mb Cache or
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 GHz 4Mb Cache? (extra £50)

2GB Kingston DDR2 667 or 800? (extra £9)

256Mb ATI HD 2400PRO or 256Mb Nvidia 8600GT DX10? (extra £37)

C2D - ASROCK CONROE 1333fsb-DDR667x2 or
QC - Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 - 1333fsb, DDR1333x4? (extra £23) (for either 667 or 800 ram - is that necessary by the way?)

I'm not really interested in playing demanding games, i need this for video editing and every day use (internet surfing etc). Thanks.

If its just for web surfing and video editing i would go with the

-Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 GHz 4Mb Cache
-2GB Kingston oDDR2 800Mhz
-256Mb ATI HD 2400PRO
-Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3

That will meet your demands just fine

if you want to do a bit of gaming got with a ATI HD 3850
