XP to Vista

I got a new computer from a guy at work and it is XP but he said that windows Vista is on it and all i need to do is install it...how?

Well that depends. What does he mean it is on it? Is the disk in the drive? Did he download it and it needs burned to disk? Or what?

Also you may want to make sure it can run vista well enough. Or you may want to stick with XP.
