Got a Compaq laptop Evo N610C hanging at the welcome screen, I have to press ctrl+alt+delete it to go immediately to the desktop. I disabled everything in startup, no change, the only thing I am noticing from constant restarting is that after every few restarts, after POST, a screen would appear stating that the date/time applet need to be adjusted and only then would the Welcome screen NOT hang and go straight to desktop, help?
