My boot floppy is no longer succeeding in taking me into Windows and I think its because the driver needs to be supplied for the IDE controller card to which the IDE/PATA HDD is connected.
How do I include the drivers on the floppy?
Or else make arrangements to hit F6 and supply the driver on another floppy?

Problem solved! :D
1. WHAT I DID TO FIX THE PROBLEM
(a) Used the "Emergency Boot CD" = EBCD->"Recover MBR" prog to do just that.
Problem gone!
The NT/2000/XP Boot Floppy made by the EBCD now works just fine.
2. HOW I CAUSED THE PROBLEM [methinks]
(a) Made and tried out a FREE XP Recovery Console bootable CD with my Win2000Pro system.
(b) I think when that was run it must have made some nasty change to the MBR.
After 2a above the Recovery Console installed to the HDD wouldn't work either, until I reinstalled it, and that made the Recovery Console work again.
