CPU of 100%

This is getting me very frustrated , Whenever I do something , like play a game . The CPU goes up to 100% and I start to lag alot. Is there anyway to stop it. My computer used to never go to 100% CPU. :(

have you tried running a spyware program(adaware) or a registry repair program.Just to start.

If spyware or worm is not present then it could be the registry problem that comes with xp(i assume you have xp). To solve this problem click start>run and enter regedit. Remove the following registry key "Hkey_Local_Machine software classes clsid {87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E} inprocserver32"

Jumping into the registry without doing some looking is a bad idea.

Press control-alt-del and bring up task manager

Click the process tab and then click on CPU ( sorts by usage )
This will show you what is using the CPU and how much of it

Then investigate from there
