7950gt memory clock issue?

I have a 7950 gt and the performance wasnt what i thought it should be,i know its not the best card but its ok.Anyway,i looked @ system specs with 3dmark06 and rivatuner to see what the settings of the card were and the core clock is what its supposed to be 570 but the memory clock is supposed to be 1.46ghz and its showing up as half of that,Am i looking @ something wrong or do i have a problem,i havent done any overclocking,just got the rivatuner to check it out?If anyone knows what gives,id appreciate the help.Thanks.

The confusing thing about memory clocks/timings/etc these days is that you are often dealing with a multiplier in the equation. If the clock speed is showing up as exactly half, then that is what I'd say is going on...the program is not reporting the speed with the multiplier, just the 'base' speed.
