Hi there,

I am going to build a gaming PC that I am hoping should cost around $400-$500.

I am building it around 2GB's of RAM and 300GB of hard disk space. The question I have is, what would be the best processor and graphics card I would need to buy to run everything smoothly. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

8800GT 512MB or 9600

CPU: any intel core 2 line that fits in your budget

ajmukon got it bang on thats what i would recommend, except if you can try and get the 8800gt rather than 9600

PC Format mag had an artical about building a gaming pc for under £250.00 I think it was in the Feb issue im trying to find the artical or the mag ive got.
