Firewall needed?

I am behind a router (Netgear DG834G) which obviously has it's own built in firewall. I also have Kaspersky AV installed which has it's own firewall. Do i really need the f/wall enabled in Kaspersky?

It's OK to have a hardware fire wall (like a router) and a software firewall running at the same time. But it's not a good idea to have two software firewalls running at the same time.
