Hi guys,

Don't know too much about computers so looking for some upgrade advice if possible? Current specs:

AMD® Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium - English
2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024]
320GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 16MB DataBurst™ cache
NVidia GeForce 8800GT 512mb Graphics Card.

I assume this is my motherboard:

The system runs OK but I am looking for a little more 'oomph' whilst playing flight simulator, and I want to boost the graphics as much as possible. My results at present are reasonable, but they could be better. I am also toying with the idea of adding another 8800GT at some point, but I don't think the PC has another slot for a second one. Is there any way to get around that?

I currently play with dual monitors and would like to add a third, is there any way I could do that with the PC as it is? I increased my power supply when I fitted the 8800GT but I can't remember what to.

Cheers fellas,

James

the only thing you could really do is upgrade the 8800GT farther... like a 8800Ultra...

anfd i highly doubt that that is the motherboard, it probably is a Dell special (but of the ATX or BTX[no longer used] form factor)

barring that, i would get a new PC designed for gaming. Building it yourself is pretty good, but dell's prices on gaming components have come down a lot.....

EDIT: i stand corrected.
it might be...

Question: How did you get an 8800GT to fit into there?
