Ok so I have dual-ethernet adaptors on my mobo and was wondering if I connected 2 routers (each with its own private cable line) if I would get double the bandwidth or what.

Edit:
I read the post wrong,
Are you asking if you can use two different modems/routers to the PC to get more bandwidth?

Yes, that's it. I have a 5 MiB connection with Suddenlink (which is like time warner/cox/whateverelseislocal)
Nope...not gonna happen. 5 is what you've got and it doesn't matter how you split it up, that is all you will have (unless you can buy in to another tier or want to pay for a second line...)

If I paid for a second line I would theoretically get 10MiB/s?

Theoretically yes depending on how you set it up. They have routers with two wan connection take can split you connection nowadays and share it. I not too sure on this as i've never set this up myself.
