IBM PS/2 56

just picked up a IBM-ps/2 56 desktop supposed to be working but the lady forgot to give me the power cords for the screen and the puter.What i need to know are the power cords universal don't know any thing about IBM can i just go to radio shack and get off the shelf cords or will i have to order from IBM.really don't feel like driving back to south carolina to get the cords from her if I can just get them here.

Yeah they should be the same...the cord is about the only thing that is standard. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks mjc, I kind of figured they would be the only thing that would be universal but wanted to be sure.But once I clean her up and see exactly what it is and get rid of the 5inch floppy and install a CD-Rom I'm sure it will make some kid happy? Now it's off to find the cd and some memory. thanks again
