I am running windows xp and like to take a break during the day to play my pinball game. I use to use windows 98 but now with xp after I am stiking the keys the game pauses and a window pops up and ask all kind of questions on how I want to setup my Stick Keys. I just hit ok and go back to my game but it pops up again. It the runs in my tool tray after that. My question is what are sticky keys , why does it pop up , and where can I learn more about them ?
Ps. I have been reading this forum for the longest time and belong to www.mercedesshop.com (http://www.mercedesshop.com) fourm and have told everyone there PCguide and lots of replies from them thanking me fopr showing them about this wonderful website. Thanks a lot!

Hi TYoungman and welcome,
I have not seen XP myself yet, but I would think there would be some helpful info on "Sticky Keys" in the "Help" folder.
Go to Start>Help, and do a search for "Sicky Keys".
Good luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif

Stickykeys is under accessibility options in the control panel. It is for disabled persons that can only use one hand. If enabled when you press certin keys they will stay pressed until pressed again kinda like an on off switch. Try pressing CTRL ALT DEL using only one hand and you will know the reason for stickykeys. In Windows ME
Goto: Start-->Settings-->Control panel-->Accessibility Options (The one with the wheel chair)-->Keyboard tab "Untick the box labled use sticky keys"
In Windows XP
Goto: Start-->Control Panel (in the list on the right fifth icon up)
-->Accessibility Options (The one with the wheel chair)
-->Keyboard tab "Untick the box labled use sticky keys"
In previous versions of Windows you could use Add and Remome Programs / Windows Settup to remove Accessibility Options from Windows but in XP you can't. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif
