How can i make inbound audio coming in through my direct input jack play over my computer speakers?

this is for windows vista BTW

In the control panel
Check your sound icon and in that look for the settings related to line-in

Depending on your sound card.
You should be able to set it to allow recording and playback from line-in

Once I set the Line-in to default for recording
Anything coming in was played back also
I use the Turtle Beach Montego sound card

I use Roxio for my audio recording
