It seems I am going to build my next PC. I have a friend who has done it several times to help, which is nice. Before I got everything, I thought I'd submit my parts list and ask a couple questions. Some things I already have - I very much like my current keyboard and mouse, so I am keeping them. So don't worry if something appears missing. The intent with this machine is to overclock to about 3-3.2ghz and play Crysis on high. I plan to add a second 8800gt after a while, as well as 4gb more RAM. After adding these to this build, is that reasonable to expect? I will dual boot xp 32 and vista 64 to avoid compatibility problems. The question is... is vista ultimate worth it? Or should I just go with home premium?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131142not a good motherboard. if you must SLI, use the 780i
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2643933&CatId=2758i believe the 650i does not support Quad core, but i could be wrong.. and this is OEM?

The only thing you are really missing going with home premium is the BitLocker encryption. No big deal in my opinion, unless of course you need to encrypt your data for some reason.

You can go to MS and compare the different versions.
