I just finished a clean, full reinstall of XP Pro, and all went well...EXCEPT this.
My display scrolls differently than I have previously experienced. Instead of "clicking" up- or downward by a few number of lines, the screen appears to reload (or rapidly flash) at rapid intervals - each time displaying the previous screen but showing it slightly higher (or lower) on monitor.
This is certainly not a critical issue, for the system appears to be working properly in all other aspects. It has, however, become a puzzle, and I'd certainly like to find out what has brought this about.
At first, I thought that I just needed to reload the drivers for my MS Optical Wireless Mouse 2.0, which I did. That made no difference, however. I've been searching through the Display portion of the Control Panel, but I can't find anything that would address this issue. Does anyone have some suggestions?
