Processor upgrade Acer 5050-3785

So I would like to know if anyone has ever upgraded the processor in an Acer Aspire 5050-3785. Its socket S1, 800mhz fsb. I'm thinking a TL-52 (the 1.6ghz turion 64x2) Currently it has an Mk-38 (2.2ghz single core). Is this doable? I already have 4 gigs ram in that pc - do you think by upgrading to this processor and reformatting to vista 64 bit I would see a good performance boost?

Do you have any detailed specs on the board?

It is hard to say with what you have supplied if the board will actually support that chip...

I can't find a site that shows what board this pc has. Do you know a way I can tell the board specs? Can I get the computer to display that?
