what does this error messege mean?, all windows XP comes up with is this and i don't understand?

Welcome to the PCGuide! Some more information on your system, please? RAM? Processor? Did you add/remove any hardware before you got this message?

What I'm seeing out on the web is...

That this is caused by the BIOS trying to boot devices as listed in the BIOS's boot menu...
And it either...
(a) Fails to find any disk drives to boot and it finally ends up attempting to boot from a "Network Device", and that too fails , so it issues that warning.
OR...
(b) "Network Device" has been placed too early [first?] in the BIOS's boot menu,. and it fails with that warning.
