Folks
I currently own few laptops and a desktop all hooked to my home network. I also have a Xbox that serves as a mediacenter beaming content from any of my connected device as well as from my portable NAS.
I have stepped into the world of high end photography and would like to get a machine that has sufficient processing power to handle video/photo editing while it also serves as a media center
I understand one can get a powerful PC and install Virtualization software such as VMWare or even a MS Virtualization product. This allows all my existing client machines to assume a profile from the central PC and take advantage of its processing power whenever they need. Also by ensuring this machine has a good form factor, I can integrate it with my home theater components shelf as well and connect to it via my home network.
How do I go about doing this? I dont have the means to build it myself due to time constraints. Could someone give me some directions on where I can buy and configure such a system?
thanks
