110v inside case

Will 110v unshielded wire throw enough magnetic field to cause drive problems? I overbuilt fulltower with 300w power supply, then decided to add 135w PS to run aux fans. Not thinking of the end result, I put 110v toggle switch into face of PC so that I could run fans or not. In doing so, I ran heavy duty lamp cord within two inches of floppy drive. Am I looking for trouble? Should I shield 110 or change switch leg to 12v?

I hope you guys don't put limit on posts before you answer my many Q's.

I don't know about drive problems, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had 60 cycle hum through your sound card.
