Whats the answer to this question, thanks in advance.
3. What are the three most common disk access modes available in BIOS setup?
A. “Drive Not Ready”, “Large Disk Support”, “FDisk”
B. “Safe”, “Normal”, “Last Known Good Configuration”
C. “DOS”, “Win”, “Dir”
D. “Parallel”, “Serial”, “USB”
Umm...
Interesting test question...and if those are the answers, then I'd choose 'E. None of the above" because none of them show three disk access modes and most of them make no sense at all.

Thats what troubles me! lol. This is a research assignment question for a comp course I'm taking and I've done more research than you can imagine on this question alone, Its a very tricky question, the first 3 don't seem to be related to BIOS at all, and the last one its just cables, not "access modes available in BIOS".
Am I missing something or should I email my teacher with a WTF! ..lol
Typically access mode refers to something like single sector (very old and very slow) or multisector/block or things like DMA mode, etc...nothing in those answers lists three of anything like that.
Answer...
A. Drive not Ready...yeah a BIOS error message, but not an 'access' mode.
Large Disk Support...possibly an access mode
FDisk...partitioning program
B. “Safe”, “Normal”, “Last Known Good Configuration”...Windows boot options
C. “DOS”, “Win”, “Dir”...two operating systems and a command to list the contents of a directory or drive...
D. “Parallel”, “Serial”, “USB” ports or interfaces...

A. Are messages that you might get after booting to DOS - typically on a floppy and run fdisk or try to access a non-existent drive letter.
B. We agree are Windows F8 boot options.
C. Just a bizarre trio.
D. BIOS Options - so by deduction it must be D. You can call them cables or ports or interfaces but all three can be used to connect to certain drives.
I couldn't figure out a common thread for A...
