Are there any "bare cases", as in, quality cases that don't come with a power supply? I would prefer to get a well known manufacturer and put it on a good case rather than get a good case with a crappy psu

Lots of times there's a good case with a "marginal" PSU thrown in. Not a bad deal really... Substitute a good PSU and park the marginal on the shelf for troubleshooting... Oft times, manufacturers just throw the marginals in for the same price as the case alone...
A lot depends on what you call a good case and How Much Are You Looking To $pend ?
I prefer these

but then who is willing to pay $140.00 for the case without a Power supply ?
Antec makes a lot of them with and without Power supplies
