monitor for laptop

I have a laptop "IE SYSTEM 4411" which has a 15" screen.

Would it be possible, if I purchased a 19" Samsung Syncmaster 920n monitor, to connect too, and use this monitor with the laptop. the laptop has a scart socket (red)

The screen on the laptop is working ok....... its just that I would like a larger clearer monitor when using the laptop.

You may have to enable the use of an external monitor in the BIOS. You also need to make sure that you have compatible hoo-ups between the monitor and the laptop.
