My Computer windows is not displaying CD Drive Details

Hi,

My Computer window is not displaying the CD Drive details....

1. When we insert CD then it is taking
2. But it is not displaying in the My computer window.

Could any one please help..

Which version of Windows please and does it show up in Device Manager. If not in Device Manager is it seen in the BIOS setup.
