FRAPS substitute?

Hi, I want to make videos of myself driving in the game GTR2. But I don't want to pay for FRAPS($37 I'm cheap aye:p ) You can get a free version of FRAPS but you can only make 30sec vids.

Anybody know of a way to record games so as I can post them at my forum?
