Hi, I've been having reoccurring problems with the comcast modem box that we have thats connected to the router. Every time both (2) computers are on, we lose internet. For some reason the IP address refreshes to one the modem doesn't recognize, and therefore we lose internet access. I tried contacting both companies, but both sides keep telling me to talk to the other company. I'm actually sick of losing internet, and so is the other party who uses the other computer. I have a Belkin wireless router that's connected directly to the modem. There is no secondary plug for the wires in the modem, and only have for where the modem connects to the router.
I think it's really retarded, and I have no clue what to do. I'm pretty new in regards to routers and modems.
