I set up network for 2 computers using allaboard internet sharing software. My computer is the server and I can get into my wives computer. But on her computer I can see my computer and when I try to get in it says I need a password. I have never set up a password for the network. I have went to password in control panel and nothing there. Now how does this work and how do I do away with the password and get into my computer. Thanks again for all the help.

Andy, looking at the documentation site for AllAboard the only instances of a password feature coming up have to do with using a dialup connection. If you look here http://www.internetshare.com/SEManual2.x.htm and do a "find on page" search for password you can see in the AllAboard dialogue box there is a tab called "Internet Connection". Maybe there is a default password in that field? Sorry if this hasn't helped you any but I don't see another option that allows you to enter a password http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif?

There are two levels of access when sharing drives on a network. You can change this in Win 98 and ME by right clicking on the shared drives in My Computer on your machine choose share and change the value to not shared reboot than go back and change it back to full and don't type a password in the box.
Alright who messed it up this time!
