Hi,
Is there an audio players specialist here? For as far i can remember with this pc (and with an old one i think), i have always had this annoying sound card "pop" or "click" at the beginning of a song either in Windows media player or Winamp. It's like the sound card "initialize" or "open" before it can begin to play the song.
It's with a dedicated Sound Blaster card with the most recent drivers installed.
I would like to know if this is fixable and, why this annoyance occurs. I use a some of professional audio applications like Sound Forge and Vegas and never heard this "pop" with those kind of software.
