now, i tried searching for it... but could NOT find it.
it is a late 80's early 90's song,
and i Want to say the lyrics are something like "home away"(background) [male voice says something(foreground)- i do not remember what], whistling,
if i had a sound bite, i would give it...
PS:
Oh, and for the delegate thing, your right budfred, 768 supers exist, i was reading the primary delegates (over 2,000).. i got confused as to which was which, all well.

Ajmukon, I was indeed around in the 80's and 90's...and even before..and listened to a lot of popular music from that era. But you're going to have to give me more than two words to go on here. The only popular song with whistling in it that I recall is Otis Redding's Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay. But I believe that one is from the 60's.
Hum a few lines, maybe it will strike a chord with my memory. ;)
does this narrow it down? http://www.bored.com/songtapper/index.html

Could you be thinking of John Denver's song, "Take Me Home" or "Rocky Mountain High"?

I don't recall any whistling in either of those songs.

"Winds Of Change" by The Scorpions? It's the only song I could think of that has whistling.

its one of those songs that i can not think of the words to, just the melody, and its STUCK IN MY HEAD!
i have been thinking about this song, it might not have had whistling in it,
but i think one line was like "if you be my bodyguard" or something.
EDIT: never mind, i found it. Title above

"you can be my bodyguard I will be your long lost pal
I will call you Benny and Benny when you call me you can call me Al."
"Call Me Al" by Paul Simon, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, good. But I'm still trying to figure out where "home away" comes in.
