Getting beyond a password and BIOS ?

We finally got a donation that wasn't truly old, a DELL Precision 380. My problem is that to work with it, I need to get beyond the password requirement. Trying to get into the BIOS doesn't help as so far I have tried DEL and F10. Does anyone know how to get into the BIOS for this pc or how to defeat the requirement for a password. I get the screen that says "For security purposes, please use CTRL, ALT, DEL This brings up the past user's name but the password is blank. It won't go beyond that. :(

Have you reset the CMOS??

Dell has info about it...search their Knowledge Base.

I thought Dell would have the information but so far I have not been able to download the manual, etc. Maybe next week the site will be working better.
