What are the differences between the three?

CSU stands for "channel service unit" and DSU for "digital service unit". Originally these were both two different boxes, but have been merged into one box for convienence.
You can think of a CSU/DSU as a modem for leased lines. It converts standard computer electrical protocols such as RS-232 or V.35 to the four-wire RJ-45 T1 connection. CSU/DSUs also provide status reports about the leased line itself, and status of equipment at the other end of the leased line. Most are capable of performing test of the leased line and the remote equipment when it is told to do so.
Like modems, you need a CSU/DSU at each end of a leased line. CWIS Internet provides one for its end of your connections, and you would need to provide one for your end of the connection.
