I would like to install my beloved Thermalright Ultra extreme 120 on EVGA 750i.. But it seems the NB stock fan is in the way.. How difficult to remove the NB stock fan??

It's very easy to remove the northbridge stock fan. It snaps right off... HOWEVER if you run your board without the nb fan...
1) it voids your lifetime warranty.
2) your chipset northbridge may overheat. Your thermalright fan might blow on the northbridge, but I've never tested the effects of an aftermarket cpu cooler on the nb, so I can't say for sure how effective it will be.
Just a couple of words of advice. I have the 680i board, which is a bit roomier from what I understand, and I was able to install an aftermarket cooler without going too close to the northbridge. My trouble was that it didn't like my power supply, which is a bit larger than the case was designed for.

Do you OC your CPU?
if not OC the northbridge will be fine without the fan. But if you do OC you need the fan on. You could look around newegg to see if they have another 60x60mm fan that is a bit thinner
i have the 780i and it does say clearly in the instructions that the fan is not needed if you are not OC'ing

Is it possible to orient the NB stock fan to face up?
