My mother board keeps on beeping..then nothing happens

Hi 2 all, im a newbie here. I would like to ask some problems with my motherboard. it keeps on beeping as i turn on my cpu..then othing happens???is there somebody can help me...plss!!!sorry for my poor english. ^^

what is the problem with my cpu????they keeps on beeping but then nothing happen??im freaking out..! first my cpu running softly and then i put my other hard disk into a secondary slave. after detecting it. and restart my CPU.. then it goes my problem..it keeps on beeping and there is no video...what could be the problem????plzzz help!!

Retrace your steps when you installed the second drive...you probably knocked something loose.

Check the documentation on your system and or mother board
look for the Beep code list
constant beep is a sign of a hardware problem.
But without knowing the exact mother board and version ( bios and MB) installed we can't give better answers

One thing to look at
Make sure the system is shut down and unplugged.
Then press the power button ( drains capacitors ) before doing anything

Check to make sure all the ram is seated and the video card is seated completely into their sockets

thanks for the info, but if i dont have documentation of my mother board??how should i know. Actually i bought my computer to a friend.. and maybe it came from my hard disk..but everytime i change my hard disk, the same thing happen????and thanks for the tips i will try it later..
