Memory......

:confused: Things have gotten a bit more complicated since I built my last PC....

I am looking at a laptop (ACER) described as having Memory Type DDR2 and Memory Speed of PC2-5300....

I would add memory if I bought this laptop, however I only find compatible memory speed of PC2-5400....slightly different. Are they a fit????? Both are 667s.

Basically, they are the same. Neither designation is actually 100% accurate, since it should be PC-5336...what you go by is the 667 number.

Many thanks........Things have changed a lot since I built my 1st PC.... pentium 100......16 meg RAM!.....etc.
