I/O error

Hi everyone,

I've got a huge problem with my PC. I just installed a new Hard Drive, formatted it, put Windows 98 SE on it, and now tried to boot it on my PC. All the formatting etc. was done on a different PC (which shouldn't actually be the cause). However, now everytime I try to boot my computer, it shows me an I/O error, and stops booting, even though, it did boot when I had a different hard drive installed.

I really hope you guys can help me with your knowledge.

Welcome to the PC Guide. If you formatted and installed on another computer you have 2 sets of drivers. Start all over on your PC using 98 boot disk format c:\, reboot, and start the 98 install. This should slove your problem, if not post back.
