I'm interested in BIOS technical details. How can I find tech spec on the format of partition table of hard drives? I checked Phoenix. They don't have it online.
Thanks,
diurnal

Well partition tables of harddrives are separate from your cmos bios. Try looking for that info at your harddrive manufacturers site.

I don't think the format of the partition table was designed by the hard drive manufacturers. It should be part of some 'standard' like BIOS. The question is where I can find this 'standard'.
Anyway, it's a good idea to check their web site.

Hello Garfield,
Take a look thru this Google (http://www.google.com/search?q=partition+table+standard) search and see if this helps.
Good luck.
