Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and just hope to get this solved...
I'm running on a home built computer atm which I've had for over 5 months:
Mainboard : Asus M2N-SLI DELUXE nVidia nForce 570 SLI
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ 3000 MHz
RAM : 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB
Powersupply: Thermaltake purepower 600w
OS: Windows XP SP3
Fans/cooling:
I have one 120mm fan in the front, two 80mm fans on the left side, one 80mm fan on the right side, one 120mm fan in the back, a pci bay slot fan, the cpu fan, and I even replaced the crappy EVGA heatsink/fan on my 8800 with a Zalman VGA cooler and Arctive Silver 5.
And its all wrapped up in a Raidmax Smilidon Mid size tower case.
Anyways, I've got major heat issues... My idle temperatures are approximately:
Mobo: 44C (111.2F)
Processor Core 1: 50C (120F)
Processor Core 2: 51C (123F)
GPU Temp: 59C (138.2F)
GPU Diode: 62C (143.8F)
Harddrive: 42C (106F)
This seems extremely hot to me. Although I haven't had any system failures or blue screens nor has any hardware been fried.
While playing AoC, CoD4, WoW, and Mass Effect My temps jump to approximately:
Mobo: 44C (111.2F)
Processor Core 1: 57C (135F)
Processor Core 2: 60C (140F)
GPU Temp: 62C (142F)
GPU Diode: 66C (148.8F)
Harddrive: 42C (106F)
My room while I'm playing any games gets to be about 85F to 90F. This is extremely irritating, being constantly sweaty while playing a game for hours on end. Its hot, and unbearable sometimes.
Before I got my computer my room was still a little bit hot and the central air never seems to fully get up to my room. So this may be an environmental issues I'm facing, not a computer issue.

I haven't tried it just yet, but I'm thinking that maybe my PCI bay fan is blowing in an opposite direction than the fan on my graphics card, since their both right next to each other it might null their air flow to nothing. I could be wrong though.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know right away, its getting really hot, lol.
