i DON'T SEE A PROBLEM FROM HERE WHERE YOU SAY BUT i DO SEE A BIT OF PIXELATION SCATTERED HERE AND THERE ON THE SCREENSHOT. Oops
Maybe unloading and reloading your video drivers could help. Or maybe a problem with your monitor?

alright ill try the drivers when i get home from work tonight. i am using a 37 inch LG tv as my computer monitor/ TV. i noticed when i put my background color as all white, i had about 10 pixels scattered through out the screen. and when i go to move the windows around, they run over the pixels and draw an etch-a-sketch design in the window. thats what it reminds me of, an etch-a-sketch.

If you can, try another monitor.

Did you uninstall your drivers before installing the latest? Please do if you didn't.
Are the pixelations in the same location at every boot? Are they at the same place as each other on different monitors? Random locations?
Onboard or video card?
Warranty?

Before proceeding below, it would be advisable to remove and reseat your video card to eliminate the likelyhood of it being connection problems.
if i did, will i still get a picture?
Yes, you will still have 'video' (get the picture? ;) ) but it will be very limited in color and resolution.
You can uninstall in two ways. Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs, or Device Manager by highlighting (video adaptors in this case) and right clicking to access the 'remove' option. I prefer, or should I say, I am more accustomed to using the latter. Either is fine.
When you reboot albeit with less detail in video quality, go to where the newer drivers are and install as usual. Once you reboot again it will return to normal.
Hopefully the install of the current drivers has corruption or lays on a couple of bad sectors on your hard drive and the reload will either fix the pixelation or place the new drivers over good sectors. If the problem returns, the next steps are to run diagnostics (on the Hard drive) or try another video card.
Somehow we'll figure it out (or die tryin' :o )

hey Fruss, what were you talking about with the diagnostics on the hard drive? i really dont have access to another video card, unless i went to buy one, and right now money is preventing me from doing that. LOL.
thanks

Try removing the card itself and reseating it first. Also do this with your memory sticks just for giggles.
The diagnostics are downloaded software from the website of the respective manufacturer of the drive in your system. IE, Western Digital has a program called Data Lifeguard, Maxtor's is MaxBlast. Make a floppy or CD with the program on it, reboot and run it to test the integrity of your drive.
As an alternative, you can start with ScanDisk to look for bad sectors but it is not as powerful or effective as the manufacturer's.
