I've got a pair of 100 watt stereo speakers hooked up to a reciever and I'm planning to get some actual PC speakers (if there is a difference). So anyways, the ones I've got my eye on are about 22watts (4sattelites at 3w, one sub at 10w). I was wondering if I'd get similar or better quality (especially at higher volumes) from these lower watt pc speakers compared to my ghetto 100 watt stereo speaker setup. Thanks for your input.

Best thing to do is check them at the store and see what they do. Some stores have speakers set up so you can try them and see what they sound like. Find a place that has the speakers you want and take 'em for a spin.

Thanks Pete. I just bought me self some Altec Lansings 4.1 surround for about 70 bucks. These things are loud as hell. My old stereo speakers are crap compared to these.
