My directories are screwed up

Ok so my directories somehow screwed up so every time I click MY DOCUMENTS, it takes me to C:\Windows


I found a way to change the directories a while back but can't recall how to do that.

Is there a way to fix all that?

hello, i am new here.

may be your pc is inffected with virus, you could try to download some
freeware antivirus like Avira, Avast personal edition, Pctools antivirus and
do a full scan see either there is inffection found.

Can you get to the folder via My computer Drive C documents & settings User name My documents.....

The "normal" way to move the location of the Standard My Documents folder is to Right Click on the Desktop Icon (or the Icon shown directly from the Start Button) if using Windows XP, choose Properties and set its location there. This doesn't work with a shortcut icon (one with a little arrow in one corner) to My Documents - although Right Clicking on a shortcut icon and choosing properties should show you where it is pointing.
