Help watching videos

I'm trying to watch a 2 hr video with real player, and every 20 minutes they screen is going black. How do I stop this from happening?

you need to disable it. I don't know if Real Player (which I don't like in the first place, Check out VLC here (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)) but under power settings (control pannel, classic view, power options) change the turn of monitor and the hard disk to a longer time. (If you just change the monitor, it will eventually stop the hard disk on your computer, I think it puts it in hibernation or standby, but I never use it so I am not sure.)
