Dell Latitude C810 We actually got a donation of a "newer" laptop and I want to pass it onto a student who is somewhat visually impaired. I am having trouble reading the display so I know that he couldn't manage. In the old days if you lowered the resolution everything got larger. Not so in laptops with their native resolution. If I attempt to set a lower resolution it gives me a suggestion that I use an external monitor and the display becomes a small box in the center. I have changed everything that I can in accessibility and chose the largest fonts but the taskbar and other items are still tiny. The resolutions matches what I have on my personal desktop pc but the display is much smaller. Are laptops just incapable of being used by those with visual problems? This is one area where I am totally lacking in knowledge so any suggestions would be appreciated.
