Hi, hoping for some input as I would like to have some idea if this will work for me or not before taking the plunge.

Dial up and satellite are the only options I have for internet. From the research I've done satellite is expensive and from what I can tell can be quite frustrating and has limitations on usage.
I am considering purchasing the AT&T wireless USB for my home use. From what I can tell I am in a G3 area so would hope to have decent speeds....I do live in a low area with a lot of trees.

Evidently one is allowed 5G consumption for $60./month. My concern is this will not be enough for what I want to do, view vids on news sites and on Utube , listen to radio and occasionally downloads of files (not video). As I have never been able to view video or listen on line I have no idea how many bytes are necessary for these activities. I am on line everyday and if my 5gs would be used with in days this will not be a viable option for me. Can anyone provide an educated guess as to usage for above or advise of a way to view my current daily usage?

It's the pits being stuck with dial up and I just want to scream. Any help/guidance will be appreciated.

Judy

Not quite fast enough to do streaming video.

5 Gigs per month is not that much.
