I am upgrading my comp because the motherboard went out
I am currently looking at this video card

and need a motherboard in the mid 100s that is compatible with my ram. I have a stock HP

So if i could get some feedback that would be great
i will be playing WoW on this comp and Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 when they come out so i will be able to upgrade then if needed

Hey Niloc Welcome to the PC Guide!

First off, how do you know that your motherboard is toast? Was it tested by someone? I just want to make sure it is dead before we go anywhere else.

With replacing your motherboard I'm pretty sure we are going to run into a snag. With OEM pc's when you replace the mobo you have to buy a new copy of your OS. So right there your cost is going up :(.

The graphics card upgrade is going to be limited by your power supply. From what I got in my research you have a 300 watt PSU. So anything high powered is going to be out of the picture.

Lastly, what were you hoping to keep for a budget? We need to know what your thinking about spending so we can help recommend things.
