Hi,
I have very little computer knowledge but need help (grad school assignments due!) - here's the problem:
I'll be in various programs (Word 2003, PP 2003) and suddenly the right-click won't work on the mouse, then I can't even pull down menus w/ the left-click of the mouse. The menus will flash on the screen briefly but disappear with not enough time to do anything. Same w/ the start menu for windows. It will allow me to save, print, and close the program, but pretty much nothing else w/ the mouse. I've check the mouse, tried another and the mouse is functioning fine. This is happening more and more frequently - it happened once a few weeks ago and now happens every day. Any ideas? Hardware or software issue?
Hardware: emachine C2825, AMD Athlon XP processor, 1.73 GHz, 448 MB RAM
Software: Win XP Home Ed.
