Just recently had a friend give me this laptop to repair. The system was so full of spyware and viruses that i reloaded an OEM copy of Windows XP onto it. After the install had completed there were some drivers missing which is not uncommon, so I went on the IBM driver download site and download some drivers. Drivers for the network card, wireless card and bluetooth drivers and then burned them to disc on my pc because the laptop is not recognizing any of it network interface cards except for the 1394. I installed the drivers from the disc onto the laptop but Windows is still not recognizing any of them and saying driver not detected. I tried updating the bios on the laptop and just about every other patch and driver on the site site. I'm out of ideas any help?
