Hi!
I am a newbie on this forum.

I am using an HP DV2519tu.

There is a problem occurring from past three weeks that is whenever I type z,x,c,v,n,m the output occurs as za,xs,cd,vf,nj,mk respectively. It exists for the lower and middle alphabetic line except the key 'B','G' and 'H'.
Also the 'Enter' key outputs as 'space then enter'.

When I enter in the system BIOS, the problem remains same. So, it might not be an operating system problem.

I have already contacted the local HP Server Center. They replaced my the keypad but problem is still there.

Please help me!
Sorry for any mistake done while posting. Searched the forum for similar topic, but not found.

Thanks!

Hi mjc!

Sorry! I forgot to mention the system type.
Yes! it is a laptop HP Pavilion DV2519tu with 160 HD and 1 GB RAM
Availed with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

I got the replacement under warranty service.

Thanks!

At this point, I'd take it back to them...if it was a warranty repair that didn't solve the problem, then I'd look at moving up the food chain...someone higher up the command structure to get it actually repaired.

That should under warranty.
