Buying a notebook - Graphics advice please

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a notebook and I'm just a little confused as to the best processor to get and the best graphics card to go for.

I'm looking at two totally different models and would just like to know which is the better option.

The first is the Acer 8920G which has:

Total Available Graphics Memory 895 MB ** Why is this higher from a 128mb?

I am intending to play games on it so would just like to know which is the best value for money, to do what I want to do??

because the gpu can share system ram thats what TurboCache means, it swaps part of video ram to main ram (like swap disk space).

this one is better: Sony Vaio NR21Z/T the Acer 8920G has a better video card but the Sony Vaio NR21Z/T is better all round and cheeper.

thay will both play modern games but both wont well, dont buy a laptop unless you really need the portability, or buy a cheep webb\email laptop, about $500, and then buy a gaming pc, about ~$800
