My wife's laptop (Compaq) refuses to connect to wireless availabilities.

At home, it has been connecting easily to my router.

Now, on the road in our motor home, it sees and "connects" to available campgrpound router.....then when she clicks to connect it ends with message that it cannot connect and then the icon for her connected wireless indicates minimal connectivity and it refuses to connect at all.:o

I have reviewed every setting I can find in Windows (XP) and my ZoneLabs security suite and find no problems.

Ideas?????:)

Thanks

What model Compaq does your wife have, does it have integrated wireless or an added wireless adapter card?
If adapter card, was it connected via the Window Zero Configuration utility or was it through the adapter card software?
And yes, the firewalls might be blocking it.
