I want to be able to output from my sound card to my reciever and play my mp3's through my stereo. If I get a sound card that has a single rca out, and use a splitter into a regular rca cable, I should be able to hook it to my reciever, right? I'm just trying to get some background into this before I try something that is impossible.

If anyone has any info they could share with me on this topic, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hello Sanders,

What you need is a cable with a headphone plug (like your computer speakers use) on one end and left and right rca plugs on the other.

These cables are pretty common the one I used came with my portable cd player. When you hook everything up the first time make sure all volumes are turned down on both pc an stereo.

Good Luck
