Hey,

I just read an article in TIME magazine how people are using a new device called replay 4000 to digitze TV shows off their TVs, then they edit the commercials out, then they compact it and then it can be sent across the internet free for others to download!
Apparantly these shows can be downloaded using Morpheus. So my question is could I use Morpheus to download onto my 30 gig hard drive, burn them on to a DVD and then play the DVD back using a DVD player hooked up to my TV?

And how many TV shows could I get on to 30 gigs?

Hi William,
The answers are,
YES
about 1 megabyte per minute (depending on editing software)

Devices like TEVO are based on this technology, were you record your TV programs thru specialy designed software and hardware, onto an IDE harddrive.
We had someone here some time back use a harddrive from a TEVO in his computer. I think it was a 30G.
Good luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif

But you might want to make sure your spouse or loved one is not there when all the porn you downloaded appears on the television screen, and don't panic when the blue screen of death appears.
